SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--GM Korea Company has launched the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro RS. The all-American sports car incorporates new styling and cutting-edge convenience features.

The Camaro has evolved through five generations. It has been the best-selling mid-size sports car for two consecutive years. The 2014 Camaro RS builds on that heritage with more progressive styling.

A stronger front and rear give it a wider, lower and more contemporary stance. The front fascia includes a broader lower opening and a narrower upper opening. In back, a sculptural decklid, horizontal taillamps and diffuser make a powerful statement.

Newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels and the exotic new Victory Red and Rally Yellow exterior colors accentuate the eye-catching design.

The 2014 Camaro RS incorporates the upgraded Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, which allows the driver to make calls, play music and dictate messages using Siri without taking his or her eyes off the road. In addition, the Driver Information Center located between the large gauges and Head Up Display are now in color, enhancing the visibility of information.

Powering the Camaro RS is a spirited 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine with 326 horsepower. The engine is matched to an automatic transmission.

GM Korea Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales Marc Comeau said, “The Camaro is a popular model that embraces the history, brand essence and identity of Chevrolet. The new 2014 Camaro RS takes the nameplate to the next level through its remarkable design and value.”

Chevrolet dealerships across Korea will start accepting sales contracts on November 1. The 2014 Camaro RS has a retail price of KRW 47.1 million.
