FINEOS Achieves AWS Financial Services Competency Status
DUBLIN--(Business Wire / Korea Newswire) June 24, 2019 -- FINEOS Corporation, a market-leading provider of group, voluntary, and individual core systems for life, accident and health insurance, announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Financial Services Competency status. This designation recognizes FINEOS for delivery of effective solutions to help insurers manage critical issues pertaining to the industry, such as core systems implementations, data management, navigating compliance requirements, and establishing governance models.
Achieving the AWS Financial Services Competency differentiates FINEOS as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that has demonstrated relevant technical proficiency and proven customer success, delivering solutions seamlessly on AWS. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and undergo an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.
Peter Le Beau, MBE, was behind the organization of a major charity initiative ‘Seven Families’ which used storage capacity provided by FINEOS’ AWS’s facilities. “Because of the sensitive nature of the project and a very restricted budget, we were concerned about providing strong data security for the project. FINEOS managed this through their AWS facilities and provided a secure area which was invaluable and yet flexible and easy to operate within. It was one of the key aspects of the project and helped to make it possible.”
“FINEOS is proud to achieve AWS Financial Services Competency status,” said Michael Kelly, CEO, FINEOS. “Our team is dedicated to helping our customers achieve their business goals by leveraging the agility of the FINEOS Platform.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective core solutions from start-ups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
FINEOS AdminSuite is deployed on the FINEOS Platform on AWS. Today, consumers, employers and brokers have access to powerful Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) computing platforms and software tools that set a much higher bar for an insurer’s digital strategy. As a member of the APN, FINEOS leverages AWS’s highly reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions to deliver FINEOS AdminSuite to the global life, accident, and health insurance market. FINEOS deployments on AWS adhere to the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices to security, high availability, support, costs, and automation on AWS.
