New Image Group makes big leap in global accolades
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND--(Business Wire / Korea Newswire) May 03, 2019 -- New Image Group, one of the world’s the fastest growing direct sales companies, has leapt 19 places in a year to Number 52 on the sector’s Global Top 100 list.
It is a remarkable feat for a company started 35 years ago by former sheep shearer Graeme Clegg in a country with still less than five million people.
The New Zealand headquartered health and beauty products manufacturer reported revenues of US$231 million in 2018 to earn 52nd place in the DSN Global 100 Awards recently announced in Texas.
Global direct sellers, including the likes of Amway and Avon, have a combined revenue of around US$180 billion, many as major contributors to wellness and beauty markets.
Clegg says New Image now has offices in Australasia, across Asia, in Namibia, Zambia, Uganda and South Africa, and recently in Peru and the United Kingdom. The company is continuing its aggressive global expansion plans following constant demand for its products.
New Image has 178 employees and helped more than 104,000 people set up businesses to sell its products direct to consumers.
