Merrill Corporation Appoints Spencer Chiu as New Chief Revenue Officer for Asia Pacific Theatre

Chiu assumes the role from Dan Hostetter, who served as Head of Sales for the APAC region for the last seven years and who returns to the United States following his promotion as Global Head of Strategic Advisor Accounts. Chiu starts immediately, and will co-report to Nancy Yu, Managing Director for Asia Pacific; and Todd Albright, Global Chief Revenue Officer for Merrill Corporation.

Prior to joining Merrill Corporation, Chiu was Managing Director and a founder of Alpha Financial Press, one of the most recognized brands in the financial transaction industry since 2014. Before forming Alpha Financial Press, Chiu spent 10 years at Toppan Vite, the financial transaction and business communications arm of Toppan Printing Group. While at Toppan Vite, he was pivotal in introducing Virtual Data Room services to the Asia market. Spencer holds a B.Sc. in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Hong Kong.
