ZHUHAI, CHINA--(Business Wire / Korea Newswire)--NetJets Business Aviation Limited (“NetJets China” http://goo.gl/F1Jw0), a joint venture among NetJets and a consortium of Chinese investors, announced today it has obtained its Part 145 Repair Station Certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). This approval allows NetJets China to commence operation as a repair and service station, and is separate from the Part 135 certification which allows NetJets China to begin full scale operation providing private jet services for customers in China.

“We are pleased with the continued support of the CAAC. We expected the certifications would come at the same time allowing us to begin full service operations however, we are very pleased to have been granted our Part 145 by the CAAC and expect the remaining certification will be granted in the very near future,” said NetJets China Vice Chairman Eric Wong.

While working through the certification process, NetJets China has continued preparing for the start of flight operations. NetJets China has hired its principal staff, established the necessary internal structures and processes for safe flight operations, and begun forming relationships with key vendors. Additionally, the company has purchased and imported two aircraft into China to offer charter services as soon as the government grants its approval.
