TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Korea Newswire)--GuestLogix Inc. (TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced a multi-year agreement to deploy its onboard retail technology platform, including POS handheld devices, across Norwegian airline, Wideroe. GuestLogix‘ solution will be deployed across Wideroe’s entire fleet to enable secure and PCI-compliant transacting onboard for the purchase of food and beverage. This agreement represents GuestLogix‘ further expansion into the EMEA region and strengthens the Company’s leadership status in the market.

Wideroe aircraft will be equipped with GuestLogix' PCI-compliant handheld POS devices to accept credit card payments for the purchase of food and beverage onboard all domestic and international flights. Implementation of the GuestLogix platform will also raise the level of functionality for Wideroe and its crew, enabling improved customer service and an enhanced onboard performance.
