ATLANTA, GA--(Korea Newswire)--Brickstream, a leader in behavior intelligence solutions for environments where people shop, gather work and play, today announced that developer Land & Houses has deployed its SeeMore 3D smart devices, BehaviorIQ analytics platform and TrafficIQ application to measure visitor traffic at Terminal 21, a 9-story shopping mall with more than 2,000 retail spaces in Bangkok. The implementation was spearheaded by IMAS, a Brickstream partner and provider of people counting, traffic and productivity analysis solutions.

Terminal 21 needs to substantiate the value of its retail spaces to attract tenants and determine rental rates. This requires accurate insight into how many people visit various areas of the mall on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Using IMAS solutions in conjunction with Brickstream's technology, Terminal 21 can continuously count shoppers and track their movements throughout the mall.

“People counting is especially critical for new developments that need to demonstrate revenue opportunities for prospective tenants,” said Mr. Torsak Busaranon, GM of Terminal 21. “Thanks to the impressive traffic figures we were able to capture from Brickstream, Terminal 21 was able to sign trend-setting apparel retailer H&M as an anchor tenant.”

“Brickstream's cutting edge smart devices and behavior analytics technology enabled us to deliver a comprehensive solution that Terminal 21 can trust for highly accurate and detailed intelligence about the flow of visitor traffic through the mall,” said Michael White, Regional Director, IMAS. “An ability to support rental pricing with objective metrics on shopper traffic volume allows Terminal 21 to substantiate the value of their locations to retailers.”

Terminal 21 can also use the data captured by Brickstream devices to measure the success of advertising campaigns, manage and deploy security personnel and analyze behavior patterns in other areas of the mall where people gather. Patented path tracking and stereo video technology make SeeMore 3D smart devices the most accurate on the market, able to distinguish between adults and children, identify whether people are coming or going or shopping in groups, and maintain data quality despite sunlight or shadows.

“For a retail environment as massive as Terminal 21, real-time traffic data is essential to pricing, marketing, staffing, security, and logistics,” said Steve Jeffery, CEO of Brickstream. “We are pleased Land & Houses is using this data to attract tenants and maximize the revenue they are able to generate from their investment.”
