Russell Emerging Markets Index: Indonesia Outperforms YTD, Gaining 4.1%

SEATTLE, WA--(Korea Newswire)--Despite reflecting a loss of 9.3% for the month of January, the Russell Indonesia Index has rallied, gaining 4.1% year-to-date and outperforming the Russell Emerging Markets Index(1.4%) through March 31, 2011.

The Russell Philippines Index, which was the best performing country in the Russell Emerging Markets Index for the calendar year of 2010, currently reflects a year-to-date loss of 0.2% through March 31, 2011, but it showed recent signs of recovery with a gain of 8.2% for the month of March.
