SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--(Korea Newswire)--KARA Clinical Global, the Seoul-based at-home skincare technology company, today announced that the KARA Clinical Ambassador Network (KCAN) has grown to more than 800 ambassadors in Korea and continues to add new members every month. The company has also launched the network in Latin America, starting in Mexico and Venezuela.

Who do you trust about your skin?

Today, most skincare advice does not come from a clinic. It comes from a video, a post or a friend’s recommendation. That has made skincare more accessible than ever, but it has also created a problem the at-home device category knows well: devices are often recommended by people who have never been trained to use them, and who are rewarded for how much they sell rather than for how well their audience does.

The consequences are easy to recognize. Protocols are simplified until they stop working. Devices are promised to do things they were never designed to do. Claims travel faster than evidence. And when results do not arrive, the person who followed the advice is the one who pays for it, in money and in trust.

KARA Clinical’s co-founders saw the problem from two sides. Seo Min-Jae, whose work focuses on building systems that perform consistently at scale, saw a recommendation channel with no structure behind it. Ji A, whose background is in facial technology and aesthetic systems, saw a brand experience being shaped by people who had never been taught its clinical logic. The answer they designed together was not to avoid recommendations, but to rebuild how they work.

“A network is only as strong as its weakest recommendation. We built KCAN as a system: clear roles, clear limits, the same training and the same standard for every member. That is what allowed it to pass 800 ambassadors in Korea without losing precision, and it is exactly what we are now bringing to Latin America,” said Seo Min-Jae, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of KARA Clinical.

Three networks, one standard

KCAN is not a single list of influencers. It is organized into three networks, each with a defined level of authority:

· Clinical Partner Network: aesthetic physicians who provide the scientific authority of the ecosystem and validate how the devices are used.
· Cosmetology Partner Network: cosmetologists who apply KARA Clinical devices and protocols in practice, with their clients.
· Ambassador Network: creators, clients and brand ambassadors who share their own, real experience with the devices.

The flow between them is deliberate: clinical partners validate, cosmetologists apply, and ambassadors amplify. Each role has boundaries. A physician can explain what a device does in the skin; a cosmetologist can show how a protocol is carried out; an ambassador can tell what the routine has been like for her. Ambassadors share their experience; they do not prescribe.

“Clinical authority cannot be delegated. What can be shared is experience, and that has enormous value when it stays honest. In KCAN everyone knows exactly what they can say and what belongs to a professional, and that clarity protects the people who trust them,” said Dr. Heewon Suh, Chief Medical Officer of KARA Clinical.

Education before recommendation

Every member of KCAN learns before representing the brand. Training runs through Kara Academy, KARA Clinical’s education program for professionals, consumers and creators, where members learn what each device does, how the protocols work, and what can and cannot be said about them. The devices members talk about, including the Auren and Auren Pro LED masks, the RFusion Pro radiofrequency device and the Oxy Pro high-frequency device, are backed by four randomized controlled trials, and members are trained to communicate only what that evidence supports.

Members then grow through four levels, Entry, Growth, Authority and Elite, based on their activity, their training and the trust they build. In KCAN, progress is earned through credibility, not through volume alone.

“The best ambassadors do not sell a device. They tell the truth about a routine they actually live. We give them the tools, the training and the visual language of the brand, but the voice has to stay theirs. That is why people listen,” said Ji A, Co-Founder and Creative Director of KARA Clinical.

Growing in Korea, launching in Latin America

In Korea, the network grows alongside the KARA Clinical Transformation Program (KCTP), which has more than 20,000 active subscribers since its launch in October 2024, and KARA Clinical’s free AI skin analysis, which has completed more than 130,000 analyses since February 2026.

In Latin America, KCAN has already started operating in Mexico and Venezuela, where KARA Clinical is represented by its partner MiDoctor24h and where KCTP is also available. The network follows the same roles, levels and training as in Korea, so that a recommendation in Mexico or Venezuela carries the same standard as one in Seoul.
