B the B is an experiential cultural space at DDP where visitors can discover innovative K-beauty products and advanced beauty technologies from Seoul-based small and medium-sized enterprises
SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--ILAB Media, together with PLOT, announced that it is operating a range of summer K-beauty experience programs at B the B, a beauty and cultural space located in Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and operated by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA).
The programs were designed around seasonal skincare concerns and summer travel needs. They introduce promising Seoul-based beauty brands and products through themed curation, allowing visitors to try the products firsthand and discover brands that best suit their needs and preferences.
B the B presents a curated selection of products focused on hydration, soothing and cooling care, recovery care for skin affected by sun exposure and environmental stress, as well as makeup, body care, and hair care products for use before, during, and after summer vacations. Visitors can freely explore and try products across various beauty categories.
Participatory activities are also available, including stamp missions, roulette events, product satisfaction surveys, and brand recommendation voting. Visitor feedback and preference data collected through these activities will be shared with participating companies and used to help improve their products, customer experiences, and marketing strategies.
Visitors can also experience beauty-tech content such as AI-powered skin and scalp analysis, personal color consultation, and AR hairstyle simulation. These services are designed to offer a personalized journey from analysis and recommendation to hands-on product experience, helping visitors discover beauty styles that suit them.
The programs also include partnerships with Seoul city tour buses and other tourism initiatives, as well as activities targeting international tourists and influencers. Through these partnerships, visitors can experience K-beauty as part of their DDP itinerary while discovering promising Seoul-based beauty brands that may not yet be widely known.
As a contracted operator of B the B, ILAB Media works with PLOT to manage the venue and participating companies, plan exhibitions and events, operate visitor experience programs, and oversee online and offline promotional activities.
ILAB Media said that through these programs, visitors can experience and discover new K-beauty brands while participating companies gain direct access to valuable feedback from both local and international consumers. It also highlighted its efforts to continue to develop programs that connect Seoul’s promising beauty companies with visitors from Korea and around the world.
B the B is a K-beauty cultural space operated by the Seoul Business Agency and located on Basement Level 2 of DDP Market. Visitors can explore a wide range of Seoul-based beauty brands, products, and advanced beauty-tech experiences free of charge. The venue is open daily from noon to 8:00 p.m. Details of current programs are available on B the B’s official website and social media channels.
